Lucy introduced me to banana bread. I think I ate a loaf a day during my stay in Dinwiddie in 1988. She patiently sat me down to her piano and taught me the woodchuck song. What a lovely, lovely lady.

I worked with Lucy at the Petersburg Museum, and I really enjoyed working with her. She always had good history or good story from her life to tell. She gave excellent tours I do miss her.
