Not sure what to say?

Grammie Ree is how you were known to me and my boys. You were lifelong friend of my mother and a feisty spitfire role model to the rest of us. I can remember endless hours spent in your home watching you and mom crafting, giggling or playing cards. As children we were told to go outside and play, but most often we just sat nearby listening to stories shared only between girlfriends about love, life, loss and your RV travels with Pa Smitty. I hope you have found immeasurable peace and comfort...

Growing up, although cousins, you were ‘Aunt Irene'. You introduced me to hot dogs, bean soup and fried green tomatoes... and humored me by making 20 pounds of potato salad. You helped me make my first formal gown…inspiring in me a talent that has brought me not only much satisfaction in life, but now also National recognition.
I could always count on you to tell it like it was, whether I liked it or not… A quality that I got from you. At some miraculous point, you went from being...

Your family in Maine will miss you more than you know. Your special and life long friendship will always be an important part of our memories. Love and best wishes to all of the family,
Love always,

I am so sorry for your lost, Irene was an wonderful soul.I will always remember her from the rv parks with my grandparents and the laughter she brought to our Beauty Shop.Your family is in our prayers.Warm Wishes Danette

I will miss listening to you and Dad tell stories of all your hell raising in years past. You always had a good time no matter what you were doing. Even if you were crabbing about something, you made it funny. I admire the traveling that you have done and wish we would have been able to make our trip to the keys together. You made those long rides back and forth to Maine seems so much shorter. I will miss your squishy hugs and I know my kids will too. Baby Brennan just happened to choose the...

we shared a lot of laughs and good times. Those will be memories I will think of often. Will keep you in my heart always.

Dear Friend:
Sure are missing you and always will. We had a lot of good and crazy times together. Like the time I played Christmas songs by Willie Nelson on the way to New Hampshire, in July, to get the hot dogs we both loved!
Also thank you to your great family for letting me be a part of saying goodbye.

Cherish the memories of your years together .

I will always miss our times together. Thank God I was able to go on the trip to PA in September. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your family.
