Family-Placed Obituary

SUTTERLIN, Lucy Ann Of Beavercreek, OH, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2005, at the Hospice of Dayton. She is survived by her husband of 15 years, Frederick J. Sutterlin, of Beavercreek, OH; sons, Billy and wife, Stephanie Sutterlin, of Beavercreek, Steve and wife, Mary Sutterlin, of Lexington, KY; daughters, Christa Slade Clift and husband Paul, of Paris, KY, Andrea Slade, of Georgetown, KY; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Lucy was an R.N. at Harrison Hospital in Cynthiana, KY , St. Joseph's Hospital, in Lexington, KY and at Kettering Medical Center, in Dayton, OH from 1990-1998. Funeral services will be held 1:30 P.M. on Tuesday, November 8, 2005, at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME, BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road at Grange Hall Road. Pastor Lloyd Mealer, officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:30 A.M. until the time of services on Tuesday. If desired, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Avenue, Dayton, OH, 45420 in memory of Lucy.

Lucy and her family were very special neighbors. I have many fond memories of Confederate Drive. Lucy was always the sweetest individual who brought up great kids that I had such a great time with. It was so great knowing all of them and I miss them dearly. Lucy and her family will be in my prayers as everyone goes through this difficult time. I hope God bless you all and its a relief to know that she is free of pain and with OUR FATHER in Heaven. Its so awesome to think of the great time she is having right now. May she rest in peace.

Lucy was a very friendly person and mom. Christa and Andrea...It was always fun coming to your house and play in the backyard. Your mother was always sweet to me and my family. GOD is sovereign. Seek Him and you will find peace. I miss seeing you and hope your're doing ok? Love you both.

We lovingly send our heartfelt sympathy to the family of this dear lady. We enjoyed the privilege of serving several years as her minister at Indian Creek Christian Church near Cynthiana, Ky. We will always remember her sweet smile and lovely singing voice. She was a treasured member of our church family. May God bless all who mourn the passing of this precious soul. I worked with Lucy at Harrison Memorial Hospital. We worked in the extended care unit. Those were fun days. I can remember how beautiful she was. I am truly saddened by her death. I learned so much from her

To Lucy's family, Ed and I were so sorry to learn of Lucy's passing. Even though we weren't in touch, we well remember times of fun and fellowship with the Choir at Indian Creek. Lucy had a beautiful voice and a beautiful spirit - and her smile could light up the room! I can still see Christa and Andrea as little girls - Lucy was a proud mom! Reading the information, I see that Lucy's family increased when she married - and we send our condolences to all of you as well. Lucy and Mrs. Porter were two of our all-time favorite people - and undoubtedly heaven is a better place because of them. Our prayers are with all of you - please give our love to Lloyd and Pat - Ed and Sharon
