Lucy K. Scheid Swenson, 98, of Kansas City, Mo., passed away February 25, 2009, at Research Medical Center. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 3, at Muehlebach Funeral Home, 6800 Troost Ave., Kansas City. Graveside services will follow the visitation at Forest Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. Lucy was born July 29, 1910, in Marshall, Mo., to John H. and Laura Bell Nichols. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Leonard A. Scheid and Leonard K. Swenson; three brothers and three sisters.
