Claire & Wayne, I was saddened to read about Mrs. Thurman's death. She was truly a beautiful and wonderful lady, inside and out!! I remember with very fond memories of working for her at Lendy's in Blacksburg when I was a senior at C'Burg High School in 1966. She also catered my son & daughter-in-law's (Bobby Dean & Jamye Jones)rehersal dinner for their wedding in May 1995. She truly left a lasting impression on me with her gentle, kind and loving heart.
