Josie Short Praising God

Mrs Walls was one of a kind in our eye sight, full of class, knowledge and a blessing to have known her.

I am saddened to hear the loss of Mrs Walls passing. She was so loved and respected by everyone who met her. My Mother(Annette Short)was so fond and cared for her as well. I hope you can find peace in the wonderful life she has lived. May she rest in peace. God bless the entire Walls family.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.

Mrs. Walls will be missed by a lot of people, her smile was infectious, her spirit warm as the sun. I enjoyed working with her on game day at Groveland. Mrs. Walls was always excited about game day. You will sincerely be missed, Oh and War Eagle!!!

To the Walls family, heaven has just received another angel. I will always remember your Mother as a loving, kind and sweet Lady with such a big heart and a lovely smile. Please except my deepest, heartfelt sympathy in the loss of your Mother. May God give you comfort and peace knowing that she's not dead but just resting safely in the arms of Jesus where there is no more pain nor sorrow. So rest Mrs. Walls while going up to glory and receive your crown. Love to the Family.

My sister Earnestine explained it best. Miss Lucy as the Cannon girls called her was my mother's best friend, a true friend. She will truly be missed. She loved her church and loved my mom France Cannon like a blood sister. To the family and extended family , may God's love and blessings comfort and keep you now and forever

The best way to honor someone who is not with us anymore is to continue living our life and keep their memory alive through everyday events. Mrs. Walls would have wanted that, and expected nothing less from you. May you take comfort in knowing an angel is watching over you.

There was no one quite like Mrs. Walls. It will be a long time till there will be someone like her. I feel for your loss and pray that you get the strength to face this pain. May your memories give you strength.

On behalf of my mother, Mrs. Frances Cannon (Birmingham AL), I express our condolences to the family. They were the best of friends and spent hours talking as well as enjoying the fellowship of Groveland Baptist Church and the many senior activities. As the church used to sing when I was a little girl, Will the circle be unbroken bye and bye Lord bye and bye. There's a better home awaiting in the sky Lord in the sky. Our prayers are with the family and may you find comfort in knowing she is...
