Lucy M. WALSH

After an eight month battle with cancer, Lucy passed away peacefully in her home, on Saturday, December 22, 2012, in her 81st year.

Beloved spouse of the late Bart Walsh and daughter of the late Anna & Dennis Meagher. Loving mother of Denise Reide (late Kevin), Tim (Kathy), Paul (Anne), Philip, Brian and the late Christropher. Dear sister to Sr. Mary Meagher, Teresa Donnelly, Pauline Walsh. Predeceased by siblings, Fr. Francis & James Meagher. Loved by 6 grandchildren; Luke Reide (Kara), Ashlyn Foster, Emma & Nathan Walsh, Brennan & Martin Walsh and 2 great-grandchildren; Kyla & Hunter Reide. Fondly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Lucy was born and resided in Belleville, Ontario, having had a lengthy profession of teaching while raising her 5 children. She was dedicated to her Church's Woman's League, Bridge and Euchre clubs, and enjoyed her visits to Ucluelet as well as other world travels.
