Not sure what to say?

Mr. Thorston was my mentor and finest teacher. He instilled in me a joy of a life filled with art and learning. He will remain in my loving memory forever..... Thank You Mr. Thorston

Mr Thorston was my art teacher from 1970 -1974 when I attended Parsippany Hills High School. He was not only a wonderful artist, he was also a wonderful man who had a great sense of humor. He will be greatly missed.

Lud was my high school art teacher from 1968 to 1971. He had a profound influence on my life both as an artist and as a sort of father-figure. I kept in touch with him in the years since and he continued to inspire me with his encouragement of me both as an artist and as a person and he offered many bits of wisdom. He is very much missed.

Lud and Nell rented from my grandmother in Boonton, Nj years ago. He painted much of the surrounding area at the time, including my grandparents' log cabin, a family lake home and the simplicity of the crooked mailboxes at the end of a long driveway. Some of us in the family are lucky enough to have some of those originals. We honor the artist and for the years he was a friend to our family. May he rest.

Mr. Thurston was my art teacher and mentor while I was in Parsippany HS 1960-1964. He was a wonderfully humble, gifted man and artist. I recognize him as one of the most influential people in my life, and though I only saw him a few times after I left PHS, his memory and influence has continued... Rest In Peace Mr. Ludlow Thurston.

A wonderful artist, we in the art community will miss and remember him always. My heart goes out to Nell.
