Aunt Pat,

You were a hero to me, as close as blood. You always had a soft voice that carried with it both sunshine and folk wisdom. So, if baking is any indication of love--and it is-- then you and your strawberry-rhubarb pie spoke with big embrace for the whole world. And I feel especially lucky to have been your neighbor. We all love you and miss you.
