SMITHSON, Luella M. - Of Flushing, age 85, died Sunday, October 23, 2011 at her residence. Memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. Cremation has taken place. Mrs. Smithson was born in Flint, Michigan on March 26, 1926, the daughter of Peter and Violet (Craig) Girard and lived in many different places during her life. Surviving are daughter, Linda King; grandson, Andrew Sak; granddaughter, Cristyn King; two great-granddaughters, Marisa Sak and Lillian Sak; best friend, Bob Kanerschen.
