Mr. Mariano would have been very proud to know he has a wonderful obituary in the Patriot Ledger. Although I did not know this very interesting, ambitious and inventive man, I did recall knowing some of his relatives, from when I was much younger. Yes, such a wonderful life story to attest to a man who probably knew everyone in Quincy and had such a wonderful family that he was so proud of. Such a great man's passing, I couldn't withold my thoughts: God Please remember to...

My dear friend Carmen,

Know my heart is heavy with the sadness of your dad's passing for I know what a driving and sustaining force he is in your life.
At the same time my heart soars recalling all of our conversations about him and your love for him and your mom.
Even though I cannot be there to share your sadness, I am with you in spirit and love, as I am always.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.
