I happened to have been a manager many years later at the same McDonalds where Luigi worked. One spring in the 70s I was cleaning out the attic. In it I found a scrapbook with pictures and news clippings from the local newspaper from February 15, 1958 which was the Grand Opening. I kept the book for posterity sake. I was sorry to hear of Luigi's passing. I spent many years working as an attorney with Luigi at McDonald's Corporation in Oak Brook, Illinois. Luigi was obviously highly educated and traveled. The word I would use to describe him is "class". Rest in peace, Luigi. David Julian

You were a friend and confidant to me. But most important you were much more than a corporate title and provider of funds. You were the embodiment of humanity.
