Luis E. Bejarano

The Funeral has now come and gone. We thought about the whole family on Friday morning at 9 30 as you said your good byes. We hope the day was a celebration of a great life lived and a wonderful lasting legacy.

Our deepest respects to all, and particularly to Aunt Valerie. May you be comforted immeasureably by those around you. We are thinking of you--- with much love,

Dearest Bejarano Family,
I am so sadened to hear of the passing of my dear friend and other father, Lou. I have known the love of your family for 53 years. It is hard to believe that he is gone from this earth. He is now in the arms of his family and friends who have preceeded him. Look up to the heavens at night and you will see a new twinkling star.

Familia Bejarano -

I am saddened to learn of Mr. B's passing. I have fond memories of sitting in Mr. and Mrs. B's kitchen and backyard -- taking in the very warm hospitality that they seemed to always offer.

Dear Longtime friend Valerie: It is always sad to see the obituary of a good friend, and Luis Bejarano was a friend for the decades of my career at Newsday in the photo dept. I remember so many trips to Kings Point when Lu was there, and I still have the great Christmas greetings from the talented Bejarano family.
