Not sure what to say?

WHILE WRITING MY MEMOIRS, I GOOGLED REV. DIAZ DE ARCE TO FIND OUT WHERE HE WAS NOW. HE MARRIED MY HUSBAND AND I IN 1971, AND HE WAS AN EXCELLENT PERSON. WE LOST TOUCH AS WE BECAME INVOLVED IN OUR OWN CATHOLIC CHURCH, AND SEEING THAT HE PASSED HAS MADE US BOTH SAD AND PROUD TO HAVE KNOWN A MAN WHO IS CERTAINLY SPECIAL IN HEAVEN. MAY HE REST IN THE PEACE OF THE LORD.

I grew up hearing my parents talk about their friend, Luisito, from Candler College and the neighborhood in Havana. When my father, Hiram L. Hernandez passed away at the too young age of 52 in 1976, it was Luisito who led his funeral service. I am saddened to hear of his passing and send my family's love and sympathy to his family. Dr. Nora Hernandez...

Marie,Luisito,Ana,Charlie and the many beloved grandchildren: Luis left great memories and gratitude in many of our hearts. I met Rev.Diaz de Arce when I was very young and he visited our church. Later I had the privilege of being part of the Summer Camp Team where the De Arce family came to work and teach every year.
Luis helped me get a final commitment from FSC where I went to college. I will never forget their kindness. Jane was the happiest if we came to have Sunday supper with her...

The Ben and Ruth Rider family remember Mr. Diaz de Arce with smiles. This is the older daughter commenting. I remember him from when I was in elementary school. Daddy passed in Nov. 2000. Mom will join him soon. Our prayers are with you!

I am sorry for your loss. It is always hard to lose loved ones in death. May the God of all comfort, as 2 Cor 1:3 brings out, be with you during this difficult time.
