LUIS FERNANDO MILAN

My dear brother Fernando was literally and figuratively an older brother who inspired others to excel academically and realize their dreams. He helped many people in need throughout his life. He will continue to live in our hearts.

Our dear lifelong friend and role model, Nandi! We love you, admire and are forever grateful to you!! You encouraged us when you were one of the first from our group to go to college. You were a true friend in need to meet our needs at a crucial time In our lives. You and your family have been part of our family since the 50´s!! All we can say is " Gracias, Nandi!!" Te amamos!!!! Que descanses en paz!

Nandy was a very special friend, "big brother", mentor, and confidant for 60 years. He played a big part in my relocating to the Boston area in 1980, and launching my career in information technology. I was very fortunate to have known Nandy (and his beautiful family), and he will never be forgotten!

I had the privilege of working with Fernando at UMASS Boston. He had a gentle demeanor and was very easy to work with. We enjoyed his sense of humor and that he always had some interesting stories to tell. My sincere condolences to his family. Que Dios le de descanso eterno.
