Not sure what to say?

Fr Luis was a great teacher! I had him for at least 2 classes. He appreciated my messy but meticulous notes (because it was a struggle for me to keep up with the information, but i tried). He cracked me up because he was always doting on a fellow student, Donna, and addressed her "Donna, my dear!" And he started classes with a prayer. He got us to stand up, exclaiming "Up Up!" Fr Luis, I will pray for you to get to heaven if you aren't there yet. I hope to reconnect with you there some day!

Fr. Luis and me at my graduation. May 2004.

I was in Fr. Luis's World History class as a freshman in 2000-2001. He knew history like he knew his own name. He wanted all of us to know and appreciate it the way that he did. My remaining three years at O'Connell found me in his classroom almost every day on my way to lunch. Fr. Luis was my friend, and my encourager. He had such a love for the Lord and for his students. He filled the world with joy and laughter and he will never be forgotten! What a wonderful man and what an amazing...

I was in Fr. Louie's World Culture class as a freshman in 1978. I was always amazed at his ability to lecture for an entire period without once referring to a note. He was a wonderful teacher and an inspiring man.

Dear family of beloved Father Luis,
I was in Father Luis's Sociology class at Bishop O'Connell. He was one of my favorite teachers and a person who stands out in my memory for being other person-centered and full of Christian joy. My siblings, husband John, and three daughters (Kathryn is shown in the photo) all were privileged to know him as teacher and celebrant of Mass at school. Such was his legacy having touched thousands of lives at O'Connell and surely hundreds of thousands...

I only have to look around me to see Fr Louie's legacy. Married by him, both children baptized by him. I am blessed to have known him. Pray for us. Padre santo

We will miss his sense of humor and all his kindness. He has a blessed man and also we were blessed by having him among us,

Fr. Luis was so beloved among my husband's family and I was so honored to have met and known him for all too brief of a time. He was lovely to me, jovial, vital, and full of empathy and caring. Father Valdivieso has left a permanent impression on my heart.

May God Bless Fr. Luis! He was a great priest, teacher and wonderful
kind person. He will be missed a lot. The Bowman's
