Not sure what to say?

I just learned of the passing of one of my mentor's "Luisa Ezquerro" yesterday evening while visiting with two former MEDA staff in Los Angeles. I will remember Luisa as a tireless and committed leader in the educational and community aspects of San Francisco and in particular the Mission District. She could be tough but had that very pleasant smile. I shall always remember you Luisa.

A very young Louisa and Angela Castillo

She is also the toughest female I have ever met anywhere in this world and have always seen her as a super role model of feminine strength. Blessings to all of those people who have benefitted from her gracious, intelligent and brave work. Her legacy is huge and we are lucky to have met her in this life. Much love, prima Paula Barnett Castillo,...
