Not sure what to say?

Hi, James, it's a coincidence for me to get online reading the news about weezie on the internet that day -actually, I've seldom read/watched news for a long time due to my busy working. Hope you are fine. Take care. I've sent you something into your email.

Hello Su, NY. Thanks very much for your thoughts. Certainly very surprised to find you here - how did you learn of Weezie's passing? Hope you and your family are well.

Many years ago, I was asked to describe Luise in one word: I chose sagacious: having acute mental discernment and keen practical sense… How I miss her. And her daily emails. … James, in those last difficult days you were her constant advocate. . For you she smiled. I wish you comfort in your loss of your cherished mother and best friend..

She is always merry. She is an ordinary but great beautiful woman, just like a bright light in darkness illumining so many people's hearts. Wish her happy in the heaven as she did in this world. And hope you take good care of yourself, James - this is what she'd hoped, you know.

I remember meeting Louise at my house on Andasol back in 82-84. My parents and Jim and Louise had come for some get together, I don't remember which, and my father and Louise sat on the couch and talked about what it was like back when or whatever about. My mother also named Louise said, 'look at him always loves to talk to anyone, especially a woman'.
Whenever I called looking for Jim in these last few years she always had a story and was interested in what I was up to. She will be...

I first met Luise in 1992 shortly after she came to Redding. She donated books to the Friends of the Library booksale, then joined the board. First, she edited our newsletter, then she became secretary, and then she served as president of the Friends. She also organized a short story discussion group, which I joined. This later became our coffee group. Luise wrote book reviews for the Friends newsletter, articles on gardening for the Bonsai Society, articles for “Views from the Ridge” in...

March 7, 1971 - Blue Jay, Ca.

For forty-five years Luise was my light at the end of the tunnel. She was the most inspiring person I have ever had the privilege to know. I will miss her forever.

Jan & Luise 1979

She was my mentor and my friend. She taught me everything I knew about being an outstanding Executive Assistant. I met her at Hughes Aircraft Co. in 1962 and we have remained friends ever since. We shared a mutual interest in books, art, and music (especially the opera). It will be lonely without her.

What wonderful photos, James. Have more? I remember Aunt Luise well even though it had been so many years since seeing her. I remember her laugh and especially how she was loved by my family. It certainly isn't easy losing a parent. Take care of yourself! Love, Suzie
