Not sure what to say?

I am sorry to hear of Lou's passing. I had the pleasure of playing music with Lou at Anthony's. He was such an expressive player that even though I did not know Lou for long, I feel I knew him well. I'll miss him greatly.

Dear Heidi and family,

I had the pleasure and honor to play music with Lou last summer before he became ill. He was a profoundly gifted musician as well as a consumate gentleman at all times. His suggestions and arrangements of the tunes we were working on were always insightful and appreciated. As a pianist, my playing was always uplifted when Lou was holding down the bass. I am deeply sad that I shall never again be able to musically dialog with Lou.

My healing...

I am greatly saddened to hear of Luiz's passing. We played music together in a very fulfilling lab band at Anthony Pascone's home over the past few years. Lou had a profoundly sensitive and melodic style on bass and it was a joy to play with him. He was a delightful person and I'm honored to have known him.

I am sorry to hear of Luiz's passing. I remember him as a kind and patient man.

"The LORD is gracious and righteous;
our God is full of compassion." (Psalm 116:5)
May the Lord comfort Heidi, Allison and Tony and friends and family.
"Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7)

"Life is not fair. God is good.
Life is a gift and God is in control." (Bill Mitchell on the death of his 12-year-old son)

We also have many wonderful memories of Lou.
We really wish we had the chance to hear Lou...

Heidi, I'm deeply saddened to learn of Lou's passing. Like John MacDonald, Lou was the first person I worked with at NUWC in 1983 as a summer student. I realized later how fortunate I was to have worked with one of the brightest and most intelligent engineers I've ever known so quickly at the beginning of my career. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Heidi, I'm very sorry to learn of Lou's passing. It was always a pleasure to work with him when he was at NUWC. Take Care, Jim Proffitt (NUWC, Newport, RI)

Heidi, I'm so sorry for your lose. Luiz and I once shared an office with Wayne king at NUSC. That's when we started there. Luiz was very smart but I'll never forget the intricate code he wrote for a submarine CO application. God bless anyone who had to debug it. Ha!!! I once saw him play bass in Fall River; very nice!

Heidi, I am so saddened to hear about Lou's passing. He was an extremely bright scientist as well as a fine, respectful person who I always held in the highest esteem. It is always difficult to fill the void such a wonderful person leaves behind. My condolences to you and family and please know that Lou and you will both be in my prayers.
