Luka Pejic

Luka was a kind and gentle man. Whenever we would meet at the St. Anthony Church social hall, I always enjoyed talking with him about Croatian music. My sympathy to his family.

I was really sorry to hear that Mr. Pejic has passed away. Once, as a child, I was thrilled by an invitation to fly with the family to Catalina - and very impressed to learn that he was a pilot. Reading his obituary now, as an adult, teaches me what a trauly amazing person he was. What wonderful memories you have! I hope that soon, when you think of him, it will be with a smile instead of tears. My visits with your family gave me some great memories too.

He'll always be "Mr. Pejic" to me. Our parents did so much to help us keep our culture alive and have fun with all our Croatian friends. I'm very sorry for your loss. Please know that we'll always treasure everything he did for each of us and, especially, for all of you.
