I was an extremely close friend to Lukas in middle school. We had latin together, and got up to all sorts of hijinks with each other, at our teacher's expense. We would play Smash 3DS constantly - and I have this one memory where, for the last "field day" of middle school in eighth grade, they set up this balloon obstacle course, where two people are supposed to race. I unfortunately know what you are going through. Hold on to each other tight. I know it is a clichè but with time you all will learn to " cope" with the new normal. He sounds like he was an amazing young man and you have so much to be proud of. Hold on to the happy times and the joy when you can. He obviously touched many lives and he was needed in heaven. I truly believe the good do die young. It's never fair for us left behind but at least we know he's safe and watching over you all.
