Lukas Benjamin Petersen Lerner

Lukas was spiritual brother to me, and I enjoyed the time I was able to spend with him. The news of his passing was a shock when I heard it. I just remembered him again recently and wanted send my respect.

In the occasion of this sad anniversary I decided to write here in order to witness that Lukas will be always living in our memory and in the heart of the people that have had the privilege of meeting him. May God bless his family always.

Lukas is one of the nicest men I have known. He loved his God. He loved his Family. He loved his country. I know his family will represent his enthusiasm for life and work that he had.
I was proud to know him.

Lukas who consistently out-hiked everyone. Lukas who climbed a mountain, backtracked and climbed the next one before the rest of the party even caught up with him. Lukas who excelled at anything he ever tried. Now he's on to further hiking grounds, ever summiting the next peak before his other earthly companions. Soar far. We love you Lukas. Pray for us. Bye for now.

I remember Lukas very well when he was at La Verna in Italy: his presence was always a sign of generosity, kindness and hard work for everyone. My prayers and my deepest condolences for his whole family.
