Luke Balstad

I just found out about Luke's passing about two days ago... I'll miss him dearly. I originally met Luke when I was in 8th grade. It was my first year in Marching band at Hudsonville, for the first year he and I had very minimal conversations, but they were still interactions that made my day. Luke truly reminds me of sunshine. His love for the little things, people, and life inspired me and many others beyond words. He helped me through one of the toughest times of my life, and I am forever grateful that I had the privilege of meeting the sunshine that is Luke Balstad.
