I know Luke's grandfather, Keith Chapin. Keith and I were in the same grades from 1st -12th. My wife and I are sad to learn about Luke even though we never met him. We both have lost family members over the years, young like Luke and older. It's a hard time to live thru. Bill & Sunni Hedrick

I am so very sorry for your loss

One afternoon, I was sitting alone at a college event when a tall man I didn´t know sat beside me. With a warm smile, he asked how I was doing and struck up a conversation for 10-15 minutes. That man was Luke Brown. Though we had just met, his kindness made it one of the warmest conversations I´ve ever had. It was a brief moment, but its warmth stays with me, and I´ll always remember Luke´s genuine spirit.

Luke was like a big brother to me. I always enjoyed being around him in cross country and track.
