DUNCANSON, Luke Robert Of Grand Blanc, age 14, died Wednesday, October 29, 2014. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 1, 2014 at The River Church, 8393 East Holly Road, Holly. Cremation will take place following the service. Visitation 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of the service at the church. Born on June 16, 2000 in Royal Oak, MI. Resided in Grand Blanc, MI with his parents, Shawn Charles and Cynthia Jo Duncanson (Perez) and brother Drew Alexander Duncanson. Luke attended The River Church in Holly, MI. He loved playing lacrosse in Grand Blanc and for the True Lacrosse traveling team. Luke also loved working at Bangkok Peppers in Grand Blanc. He had a passion for music and spent leisure time playing the guitar and drawing. Luke's million-dollar smile never left his face when he was surrounded by family or friends. His zest for life spread joy and he had a heart for the Lord. Luke aspired to work in law enforcement, just like his dad and hero. He is survived by his parents, Shawn and Cynthia; brother Drew; Paternal Grandparents Alec and Sherry Duncanson; Maternal Grandparents Andres Perez and Pam Perez and Step Grandmother Yolanda Perez; Aunts and Uncles Todd and Carrie Duncanson, Scott and Carey Duncanson, Mark (Godfather) and Jennifer Duncanson, Bob and Katherine (Godmother) Todd; cousins Toni, Jim, Alex, Chandler, Taylor, Grant, Brooke, Sophie, Amber, Jessica and Andresito. Luke also leaves behind a sea of beloved friends, treasured best friends, amazing mentors and a very special Bella. Luke will be greatly missed by all, but will certainly keep shining on.
