Not sure what to say?

Luke... Ill never forget you. I worked side by side with you for the better part of 2 years and you were truly so warm-hearted and a never ending pool of wisdom. Im sorry I didnt reach out. I will always think of you when I hear The Grateful Dead or Jackson Browne. I hope you rest peacefully.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Luke's passing. He had a gentle soul and I'm so sorry for his loss. May friends and family and memories give you strength.
Sincerely and with love, Amy Klaus McSweeny

The only teacher I had for 3 separate years(8th, 9th, 11th)and by far my favorite each of those years. What a great guy. Mr. Jansen had an open door policy that you knew was genuine. Whether it was to play euchre at lunch or if you needed someone to talk through hard times, Mr. Jansen was the go to guy. I can not thank him enough for writing my college recommendation letters. Deeply saddened I will not be able to thank him again. A true genuine soul that will be deeply missed.

Dearest Ira, Mira, Michael, Lucas, Emma & Sophia,
Please accept my deepest and most sincere condolences.

It's been a few days since I was informed of the untimely passing of our beloved Luke and I'm still in disbelief.

Luke was born and raised in a family that KINDNESS is of an utmost importance.
I vividly remember my first thanksgiving in Ann Arbor 40 years ago. The Jansens invited me to their home when they found out that I was going to be alone on...

I am very sorry to hear of Luke's passing. My deepest condolences to his family and his many friends. To me, Luke was a great friend & neighbor, classmate, and teammate. Some of my favorite memories with Luke were our many little league baseball games played together and our rides home with Coach Jansen and our stops at Collins Pharmacy for red pops. It didn't matter which sport we were playing, Luke was always the best athlete on the field, court, or diamond. You will be missed Luke. Rest in...

My sincerest condolences to Mrs. Jansen, Mira and all of Luke's family.
I was stunned to hear of Luke's passing,
he was a close friend for many years.

Our lives were intertwined during our college years at EMU, sharing interest in School, sports and working together at the Gollywobbler. He was my brother Terry's best friend. In later years we enjoyed playing golf and spent countless Friday evenings playing strato which he also had a passion for playing.
Luke was always great...
