Not sure what to say?

Luke always made me laugh and always brought a smile to my face. He was like a little brother to me. Annoying at times but he always found ways to make everyone smile. I wish I could have said goodbye to him before I moved away. My dog Harlowe reminds me of him, energetic and cheerful. I was scrolling through my playlist on Spotify and found a song called “Reese’s puffs” and he always like the song and I cried remembering how he played it so often.

I will always remember Luke showing me the woods behind my neighborhood, me and him having to wade through the creek to get to the other side, when we tried to bring air soft guns into the woods by traveling them in my old wagon all the way across my neighborhood, when he brought his very impressive air soft gun and we shot at my parents old NY shot glasses (they still never found out where they went). I also fondly remember our flight and space class together at DMS, how he would let me...

He was an awesome great friend. Every morning at school he would approach me and show me his new rubix cubes. I would always scramble it and watch him complete it. He taught me how to complete them through the daisy method. I still have my regret of promising to buy him a special cube and I never completed it. But I will Luke.

When I think of Luke, the words that come to mind are sweet, joyful, caring, and inquisitive. Whenever I interacted with him, I almost hear the gears turning in his brain. I remember how interested he was in Sara's piano playing at Nona's service and stood there quietly watching her every move. It was almost as if he was memorizing her movements and would sit down and play the next piece.

Your eulogies at the service were perfect. The thought of him getting the real answer to...

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. God bless your family and give you healing.

In loving memory of our nephew Luke. We will love you and miss you always.

Teachers have so many students each year, they can begin to blend together I. Memory. Not Luke. Three years of him in my theatre classes had already proved he was unforgettable. He was always full of life and energy and good humor. Even when he might be testing your patience, you couldn’t help but smile. He was always eager to help anyone, often in a way unmistakably “Luke”. And he always wanted to do well and to please; he would spend so much time and effort on every project in my class,...

Luke was a joy to all who met him. I remember how much he loved being on the river and how eager he was to make new friends! He was always ready to play. I'm so sad that we don't get to experience his joy and excitement in this life, but look forward to his presence in the next. May God bring peace and comfort to all the Mennes and all of those who loved Luke.
