Thoughts and prayers to the Mitchell family. I spent all my summers in Ocean Grove and remember his father, Dave Mitchell, protecting us all from the rough seas. R.I.P. and may Luke find ahead the greatest wave of all to ride!

Mitchell family,
I first met Luke when we were umbrella boys together on main ave in ocean grove way back in the mid- ninetys. After years away I returned to OG to lifeguard in 2004 and haven't left since. During that time I would see Luke frequently in the water or talking about the Philadelphia Eagles or our favorite bands. He was a great guy and had so much passion for whatever he was involved in. I'm sorry for your loss, he will be greatly missed.

Dear Bobbi, Matt, Mark, and Family,
The last time I saw Luke, he was a young boy with a sweet smile and a gentle demeanor. My children played with him when they were young, when we lived on Cookman Ave., across the street from you. I remember when he was born...it was a very special time. I speak for my parents
and myself in expressing our most heartfelt condolences...we send you warmth and solace during this difficult time.
