My deepest condolences to the whole family! I know she was loved and will be missed by so many! I still miss her smile, her great sense of humor and that little wink she gave me when she said that she was too tired to do an exercise! I always said that she was my favorite person I've ever worked with and it is still true today. I miss her dearly.

I always admired and stood a little in awe of Lula Rose. She was to me the epitome of the Great Southern Lady. In a bygone era, she resided on Camellia Hill, a special enclave of flowers and horses along with her parents and sister, the Turlington and Miller families. She was a lovely lady of great charm and dignity who embodied the better, softer side of Southern womanhood.To a certain segment of the 'over the mountain' community, a wedding was not complete without the floral ...

Mrs. Blackwell was such a wonderful flower arranger and such a sweet lady! My thoughts and prayers are with all of her family at this sad time. She was always so friendly and beautiful and I know she loved her great family! Everyone has wonderful memories of her!
