Lula Bowers

My mother was the best mother ever, ever, ever. If it had not been for her, all of us kids (8 total), would probably have starved to death. I never heard one curse word or any pity party come out of her mouth. Even though we had very little, I never remember going to bed hungry. It may not have been the most well balanced meal, but she made sure we had enough. She never wanted us kids to know just how hard up we were financially and didn't want to worry us.
