Mrs. Garrison, you'll always have a special place in our hearts.
(Mrs. J. Wesley Barbee)

Dear Ann and Jesse,
I have not been in touch but I am Lula's goddaughter. I heard of her passing and wanted to let you know that I have been thinking of her and how she touched my life in a positive manner. I have fond memories of spending time with her and James when I was child living in Georgia. I was unable to get to the funeral because I currently am ill myself with pneumonia. I will continue to keep you both as well as well as the remainder of the family in my prayers. May God...

To the Family of Mrs. Lula A. Garrison.

So sorry to hear of the passing of my teacher and friend. I met and became her friend while she resided in Pembroke, Ga.

You have my deepest sympathy.

Mary Smokes-Fleming

May God grant you "strength" in you time of sorrow. Our prayers are with you and your family.

Ms Lula,

I remember when I first met you when Willie and I were married, you seem to be a loving and caring person, always had a smile and treated me like family. Whenever we came over to visit Ann and Jesse, you were so kind and always made me feel welcome.

You will be missed, but you are in a better place.
May you be at peace and I will never forget you.

Judy, Joy and Darius Thurman

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27
Our prayer is that you will continue to lean upon the Lord and trust that He will carry you through.
