Lula served as a bridge for the Matthews family to cross. Her life is remembered as one who was blessed with the ability to take care of her family and maintain her independence.

Lula is the last link to the second generation of Matthews that have now grown to Grandchildren and great grandchildren who are going to college and contributing to a better world.
