I was sorry to hear that Luthene passed away the other day. I thought of all those great Saturday nights over hamburgers listening to she and my mother cut up and laugh. My guess is there is a corner of heaven that just got a little more joyous with her arrival. I also figure she and mom will be getting into mischief, even in heaven. I am sorry we could not be there. I will be praying for ya'll Friday.

Dear Weldon and family,
Luthene was a remarkable lady. We felt a connection with her the first time we met her. She had a kind soul but also a quick wit. She welcomed Brooke into your family. We feel honored to have known such a wonderful Christian lady. Her love of life will live on in all the lives she has touched. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. May you feel God's arms of love surrounding you during this difficult time. Weldon, thank you for your extraordinary...
