Lyle was my Manager for a few years, he taught me so many new things. He was an amazing man. My heart aches for his family, but please know that he is in the BEST place. My prayers are with his family.

Lyle and Norman Petty came over to take a look at my radio station back in the 70's or early 80's..I know he was a friend of my friend Fred Hensley..Lyle called me a couple of times when he was trying to get a record contract for Leann Rimes...sent me a tape of her recording..Jim Slone Tucson, Arizona of "Blue"..Asked my opinion of her voice...We had a good conversation...
