my condolences to family. i met the 'captain' at st charles vincent depaul society where i worked a few yrs. she visited my dying mom and i visited her dad in nurse home and watched wrestling with him which he loved. she was the mother teresa of staten island. im just seeing this today , god bless her and keep her, john clark

Luz Captain was a devoted member of the Physical Fitness for women classes I taught at Susan Wagner High School Adult Continuing Education. She was a dedicated student and enjoyed exercising with others, learning folk dances and playing a vigorous game of volley bal. Her kindness, charitable demeanor and her concern for others was evident to us all. I will always think fondly of Luz and keep her in my prayers. I send my deepest sympathy to her family and friends.
