Luz Minerva "Lula" Rosa

New London - Luz Minerva Rosa aka "Lula", 75, of New London went home to be with her Lord Oct. 3, 2021. Lula was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, daughter of the late Arcadia and Ignacio Roman from New York.

She is survived by her husband Angel Rosa; her sons, Jose Olivero, and Jerry Olivero and his wife Maribel Olivero; sisters, Gloria Ruiz and Grimilda Diaz; brothers, Jose Roman and Benjamin Roman; and grandchildren, Jerry Jr., Danielle, Veronica, Adrian, and Jamarys. She was predeceased by her son Richard Olivero.

Minerva was a faithful Christian who dedicated her life to serving the Lord and helping others. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with family. She was loved by all who knew her and will be missed dearly.

Her funeral will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday, at Oasis de Restauración Church, 35 Redden Ave., New London.
