BALL, Lydia - Of Port Huron, formerly of Flint, age 30.



 



Visitation 10am Sunday until the time of the service at the funeral home.



 



Funeral service will be held 3pm Sunday, August 28, 2016 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Father Gary Koenigsknecht officiating.



 



Cremation will take place following the service.



 



Contributions may be directed to the family for her children.



 



Lydia was born in Flint on March 30, 1986, the daughter of Larry and Roxanne Jackson. Lydia graduated with Honors from Grand Blanc High School, Class of 2004. During high school, Lydia volunteered for senior citizens’ groups. She was currently taking college courses in business management on-line. She was an avid swimmer, gourmet cook, enjoyed going to the beach with her family, working on crafts and doing nails and hair. She was a very enthusiastic outdoor person who was loved by anyone that met her. Lydia was an Inspector at Chrysler Corporation.



 



Surviving are parents, Larry and Roxanne Jackson of Port Huron;



 



son, Douglas Edwin Ball, III;



 



2 step-daughters, Kaitlyn and Alexis Ball (Hendrickson);



 



brothers, Jeremy and wife Glenda Jackson and their children, Jeremy II and Lacie of Grand Blanc, Edward Jackson of Flint and his son, Ryder;



 



3 aunts, Paula and husband William Mahler of Grand Blanc, Nancy Kroetsch of Burton and Sally and husband Rodney Burnham of Gaines;



 



and several cousins and many special friends.



 



Lydia was preceded in death by her grandparents, Helen Jackson, Edward and June Polidan and Thomas R. Jackson.

I still miss you everyday. Not a day goes by that I don't look up and still talk to. We will see each other again someday sister.

Lydia, I'm glad I had the chance to know you. I will miss your loving heart and your funny sense of humor. You would always put a smile on my face when I walked Into work. Rest in peace my friend
