Funeral services for Mrs. Lydia Emma Harvey, age 86, of Bonham, will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, Sept. 7, 2006 at the New Home Baptist Church in Bonham under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Rev. Daryl Blanton will officiate and Rev. Millard Harvey Jr. will assist. Burial to follow at the Gates Hill Cemetery. Paul Bearers will be Shawn Pittman, Richard Elliott, Lawrence Samuals, D.J. Stewart, Phillip Walker, Jimmy Roulett and Honorary Paul Bearers will be the Deacons of the New Home Baptist Church. Mrs. Harvey passed away on Monday, September 04, 2006 at the Bonham Nursing Center.

Mrs. Harvey was born December 19, 1919 in Savoy, Texas, daughter of Vernon Gocher and Viola Boyd. Lydia married the late Millard Harvey Sr. in 1938.

She was a member of the New Home Baptist Church.

She is survived by:

Sons: Millard Harvey Jr. and wife, Bunice

Carl Harvey and wife, Delorise

John Milton Harvey and wife, Nancy

Daughters: Lillie Stewart and husband, Charles

Joann Penny and husband, Jesse

Patricia Bridges

Brother: Raymond Gocher
