Nov 4, 1921 - Mar 31, 2016 Lydia Stallworth Kidd, affectionately known as Jon Jon, entered into her eternal home on Thursday, March 31, 2016, at the age of 94. She was born in Haynesville, AL to the late Amos and Sallie Stallworth, and was preceded in death by her sons Torry, Jr and Wayne, Sr. She confessed Christ at an early age and was a faithful member of Andrew Street Church of Christ. Lydia's survivors include her devoted husband of over 73 years Torry Sr; children Rev. Winston (Lynnetta), Anthony (Marilyn), Christine, Donna, Arnold (Constance), Amos (Mary), Beverly, Mark (Sharon), Phillip(Betty), two daughter-laws, Gloria and Martha, three sister-in-laws, a devoted nephew Amos (Sylvia) Rudolph, twenty-four grands, forty-one great grands, five great great-grands and numerous other relatives and friends. Visitation will be 9 AM Thursday, April 7, 2016, at Greater Mount Olive Baptist Church #2, Hubert Baker, Pastor. The funeral hour will follow at 11 AM, Brother Freddie Peterson presiding. Services by Christian Benevolent Funeral Home.
