My deepest sympathy to all. I remember our mom's sitting on the front steps talking about things and when there was something they didn't want us to hear they would start talking Polish. I have fond memories of your mom sitting on her front steps waving to us as we left for school or work. These memories I will cherish as I remember my growing up. I am sure she is talking with my mom in Polish as we speak.

Having lived with all of you through many good times with your family and especially Lydia, I always felt like family. One of the best things besides just having everyone as a family was being able to be a part of Lydia's cooking. She was a outstanding cook. Two specialties that come to mind are Pierogies and Lemon Bars. Thank you for sharing Lydia...
