Not sure what to say?

Aunt Lydia, it was an honor to have you as my aunt through marriage. I have many many good memories of family times spent together, St. Patricks Days downtown, coming to see you at the River Room for lunch, sitting in the backyard watching Nicole and Danielle swim. I can close my eyes and see Uncle Ozzie in the back yard with Buster tied up to the picnic table, barking and barking and barking....Rodney riding his bike up and down the street..those were the days. I really did admire many...

I first met Lydia when I was an infant. My mom and I used to go "downtown" every Monday night while my Dad attended a business meeting. Mom and I would frequently eat dinner at the Schueneman's River Room. Lydia was always there to greet us with a smile and a complimentary remark about the clothes I was wearing. My Mom made most of my clothes so Lydia's remarks were always special. Many years passed, I grew-up, got married, my Mom passed away. Twenty five or more years passed. Probably...

Lydia, you were one of the brighest stars in the universe. Your sunny personality and great sense of humor were a joy. God bless you and keep you. To all the members of Lydia's extended family, my deepest sympathy. I am sorry that I could not be there to celebrate her life and passing with you all.

I grew up knowing Lydia (and Ozzie) as an "aunt and uncle". They were best friends of my grandparents (Fran and Bob Wells) and were always at family gatherings. I have kept in touch with Lydia through Christmas cards over the years, I will miss sending one to her this year. She will be sadly missed.

Although I did not know Lydia personally...I always felt like I did due to her kind and gracious manner. Everytime I went to the River Room, she greeted all of the people in our lunch party with a beautiful smile. She will be missed. Dianne Kocourek Ploetz

My colleagues and I have lunch at the River Room regularly, and it will be a changed place without Lydia. She had a big smile and such energy, and served as a role model to us all on how to age gracefully. She's on to better things, but we're going to miss her.

I loved Lydia alot! I really liked to cut her grass and shovel snow and help her! I miss her alot! I love you Carol and Amy!

A true friend to the family and an inspirational woman! Lydia will be missed! I was unable to attend the service but I want to extend my sincere condolences to the family!

Lydia, you were there in the River Room at Dayton Schuneman when I was 15 and you were still there after I retired. You are incredible.
I'm glad I knew you for a while.
