She was one of the kindest teachers I ever had. Her influence encouraged me to eventually become a teacher, too. I'll never, ever forget her.

It doesn't happen often enough that you can meet a couple like Bert and Candy Man that make you feel like family. No matter what was going on in their lives, you always received a warm smile and a hug. If you needed motherly advice, Bert knew just what to say. We are going to miss you so very much. Thank you for always being that special someone.
