It is ten years ago since we lost Lydia, who I met in Niagara Falls while we were at LaSalle junior high. Her sister Melanie married my brother John George and we stayed close to the Wozniak-George family in California. Sadly, both Melanie and John have passed away. - Melanie just a year ago. Lydia touched all of us at Our Lady of Peace,with her kindness, sweetness, and courageousness. She became a friend to us rather than a patient. We are very sad about her passing and miss her very much.

I was greatly saddened by the news of Lydia's passing. She and I grew up together and had so many good memories. She was a devoted friend to my mother, keeping in touch with her on a daily basis. I will miss my friend but will have only good thoughts of her.
