Funeral services for Brother Lyfe Lazarus Coleman, 18, of Tampa, who was murdered on Monday, Jan. 5, 2015, will be held on Sunday, Jan. 11, at New Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church 2611 E. Columbus Drive, Tampa, at 2 pm, with the Pastor Rev. Larry Roundtree, II officiating. Interment will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery on Tuesday. Lyfe was born in East Point, GA on May 7, 1996 to Sonia Harmon Coleman and Life Malcolm. Lyfe attended private and public schools in Hillsborough County. Preceded in death by his younger brother, Sentwali YaYa Coleman; maternal grandmother, Mary Harmon; maternal grandfather, Ulysses Harmon; and his paternal great-grandmother, Alberta Macon. Survived by parents, Sonia Harmon Coleman and Life Malcolm; 3 sisters, Asha Hadiya Niara Coleman, Journey Myles Coleman and Jaye Reign Coleman; 1 brother, Elijah Jahstile Blair; paternal grandmother, Ernestine Macon Coleman; paternal grandfather, Roosevelt Coleman; and host of great-aunts, great-uncles, aunts, uncles, cousins; relatives and friends. There will be a viewing on Friday, Jan. 9, at Wilson Funeral Home from 5-9 pm, and the family will receive friends from 6-7 pm in the chapel. There will be a viewing for Lyfe Sunday from 1:30-2 pm, at New Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church prior to the service. Friends are asked to assemble at the church at approximately 1:45 pm, Sunday.
