Lyla S. Fox

Lyla Fox was perhaps the kindest and biggest hearted person I have ever known. She befriended me my first year teaching and we remained friends until her death. Lyla will never be forgotten by anyone who knew her. I loved her as a dear friend. Her goodness, curiosity, integrity, joyful heart, sensitivity to the needs of others, and extreme generosity comes to mind always when I think of her. Her passing left a huge hole in my heart as I´m sure she did others. She was a lover of people.

Lyla was one of my best friends. God blessed us with two children about the same age each and we shared that experience and so much more. She encouraged me but mostly she loved me just the way I was. She saw the absolute good in people and then shared that with them. When I remember her I think of love and laughter. I miss her

Lyla was one of my most favorite teachers ever not to mention a good friend to me. She was such an encourager, she kept me from quitting more than one time! My thoughts and prayers to her family whom were her favorite people on earth!
