Not sure what to say?

The most gentle and knowledgeable dentist I´ve ever had. A truly wonderful human. My children also were patients before they moved and my wife while she was alive. RIP Lyldon; I´ll never forget you.

one of my favorite mentors in life. All of us loved Lyldon. Rest in peace my friend. Mike

Llydon always reminded me of my Dad, James Harrington, his Uncle. They were so close in age that I am sure they were more like brothers. Whether it was as my dentist or at family gatherings, I wlll never forget him. And will especially remember playing in the creek at one of the family reunions when I was 10.

Uncle Lyldon - You will sincerely be missed. You were a hero and a much-needed positive influence for me growing up. I wouldn´t be where I am today without your encouragement and guidance in my younger years. I will never forget you taking me to the sandwich shop by the office for lunch while I was in my early years of undergrad. You gave me invaluable advice on navigating the college system that day. Your care and generosity will truly never be forgotten by me. Rest in peace, dear Uncle. ...

It would be impossible to express my gratitude for the positive influence Dr. Strickland had on my career and me personally. A true gentle- man, the epitome of class and character. His calming voice and demeanor were always a welcomed experience. While he has "changed addresses" to be back with Martha Jean, he has left a lasting mark on humanity and dentistry that will live forever. Thank you, Lyldon, for so many things, and to the family for sharing him with us for so long.

May God be with the Strickland family during this time of deep sorrow. Hand salute to a brave and great US veteran that has been called from the ranks. As a fellow Rotarian and Paul Harris Fellow, Godspeed.

He cut his fees in half and let me pay monthly for braces on a young girl whose father had filed bankruptcy and left her and her mother with no income. Still today when I see that now young mother smile, I think of such a generous dentist who helped me make a difference in a life!!! He was a special man!! I know Jesus was waiting for him with open arms
