Read MoreI was a classmate of Lyles at NDSU back in the 60's. We were in the ATO Fraternity together, along with hi brother. Much fun those days were; I loved Lyle's sense of obligation to one another as we lived and worked together as a fraternity of 50 brothers. I knew he would be a great family man.

Lyle was one of my favorite friends at NDSU. Several of us sang in Dr. Godwin's choir and reunited several years ago to honor Dr. Godwin. Lyle was talented, a sharp guy, fun to be around and had tons of friends. Blessings to his family and loved ones.

Such a sweet picture of Lyle! He will be so missed.... I have so many memories of him - a lifelong family friend who meant so much to our family. My images of him will always include his crooked smile, that knowing yet sly glance, and the perpetual twinkle in his eye.... Our thoughts are with all you Bakers today ~ and always. Hugs to you!!
