Read MoreLyle and Barb were among my favorite patients. I was their dentist for the last 30 years or more. I enjoyed his jovial personnality. His favorite saying to me was that one of the crowns on his front teeth was "permanently cemented with temporary cement!" I was sad to hear of his recent passing, but heartened that he lived a good life and left a great legacy for his family.

so sorry for your loss. We were neighbors of his parents in Middleville and met him through them. He was always friendly and talkative ( a lot like his mom!!) Enjoyed helping keep track of his parents with him in their last few

Such a loss of a wonderful guy. A friend to so many. I have known Lyle since he worked with my mom, Ann Hofstra-Barber, in Real Estate. He was a talented knowledgeable Appraiser. Just a pleasure and a treasure to know.

We will miss seeing Lyle/Grandpa at breakfast at least 2 or 3 mornings a week for the last many years. Grandson Richard enabled these visits. He was a very popular and friendly man. We learned much about his life and family during these outings. Our thoughts are with his family.
