I had/have the everlasting honor of having been selected by Lyle Cameron to be the Chief System Engineer for the USAF Lightweight Fighter and F-16 Fighting Falcon Programs which he created in the early 1970s. Four others and I were introduced by Lyle as being his "Five young Turks" at a dinner hosted by the Commander of the Aeronautical Systems Division at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio.
