Lyle "Scotty" Comstock

My start in scouting was in Troop 319 with Mr. Comstock at the Christ Lutheran Church next door to Bolles across from the San Jose Country Club. Scouting was a great foundation for me and Mr. Comstock was a Scoutmaster that I respected with great admiration. Because of Mr. Comstock’s guidance I am part of scouting today and I have a son who is an Eagle Scout.
May the peace and dignity of scouting be with Mr. Comstock and may his memory always be one of greatness!

A fond farewell salute to the Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 319 from one of its former members.
Mr. Comstock put up with a lot from us, kept us out of trouble (as best as anyone could), and still let us have plenty of fun.
He was a great guy. May he rest in peace.
